ATRguide

Terms of Service

Draft — v1, 2026-10-22

By using ATRguide/TechPulse ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. Please read them in full.

1. The Service

ATRguide provides Synth, an AI-assisted diagnostic support tool for automotive technicians, along with shop/case management, billing, and related features. The Service is intended for use by trained or licensed automotive technicians and shop personnel.

2. Not a Substitute for Professional Judgment

Synth is a diagnostic aid, not a replacement for hands-on inspection, testing, or the technician's own professional judgment. Synth's suggestions, including any stated probability, cause, or recommended test, must be independently verified before any repair, part replacement, or other action is taken on a customer's vehicle. ATRguide is not responsible for repairs performed, parts replaced, or conclusions reached based on Synth's output without independent verification.

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate account and shop information. You are responsible for all activity under your login. Team plans permit up to the number of technician logins stated for that plan; sharing a login beyond that limit is not permitted.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Paid plans (Single User, Team, and add-ons such as Advance AI) are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. New accounts may start with a free trial period as stated at signup; at the end of the trial, continued use requires an active paid plan. You can cancel anytime from your account's Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service; resell or sublicense access without ATRguide's written consent; use the Service for any unlawful purpose; or attempt to circumvent billing, trial limits, or access controls.

6. Data You Provide

You may submit vehicle information, diagnostic trouble codes, symptoms, conversation text, and photos or scanner files. See our Privacy Policy for how this data is used, including how confirmed diagnostic cases may contribute to the shared knowledge base that improves Synth for all shops.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. ATRguide does not guarantee that Synth's output will be correct, complete, or appropriate for every vehicle or situation.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATRguide and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including vehicle damage, personal injury, lost revenue, or comeback costs — arising from use of or reliance on the Service. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. ATRguide may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive use, or fail to pay fees owed.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be version-dated, and continued use of the Service after a material change constitutes acceptance. We may ask existing users to re-accept a new version before continuing to use the Service.

11. Governing Law
